Project overview

J&P Group provides full stores management services for Uniper at their Connah’s Quay site. With a dedicated permanent Stores Manager and Assistant Manager on-site, we ensure seamless control and optimisation of all materials, equipment, and inventory processes.

Our team works closely with Uniper to support both day-to-day operations and critical outage/shutdown periods, ensuring materials are available when needed, downtime is minimised, and efficiency is maximised.

Our Roles & Responsibilities

  • Stock & Non-Stock Management – End-to-end control of materials and consumables.
  • Inventory Strategy – Maintenance planning and optimised stock holding to align with site requirements.
  • Outage & Shutdown Support – Dedicated resource for critical project periods.
  • SAP Inventory Management – Accurate system management including invoicing and stock transactions.
  • Inventory Counts & Auditing – Regular checks to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Obsolescence Management – Identifying and removing redundant or outdated items.
  • Warehouse & Logistics – Efficient organisation, goods movement, and supply chain flow.
  • Stock Level Management – Demand-based control with a focus on critical spares.
  • Continuous Improvement – Streamlining processes to drive efficiency.
  • KPI Reporting – Clear performance measurement and accountability.
  • Quality Inspections & Material Review – Ensuring material suitability and compliance.
  • Procurement Support – Assisting sourcing and supplier management.
  • Hanel Lean Lift Operation – Safe, modern vertical storage management.
  • Housekeeping & Safety – Maintaining high standards in warehouse organisation and site safety.
